“Doctors called it incurable. Jesus called it done.”
Kristen Hale is a former Mormon and author who encountered the living God in the darkest season of her life. After six months paralyzed in bed and two years battling heart disease (POTS), she was visited at a Mormon Temple and later, miraculously healed in seconds at Restoration Ministries, a non-denominational Christian church.
Before all this, Kristen was deeply rooted in works-based religion, chained by rituals and demonic ordinances in the Mormon cult. Now she lives in the wild and beautiful truth of being saved by grace. She is free to be imperfect, free to rest, and free to share the Good News with anyone who will listen, and even those who will not.
In 2025, Kristen released her debut book sharing her journey out of Mormonism and into a real, vibrant relationship with Jesus. Her heart is to see others set free and drawn to the Father by His love and power.
Now she walks, worships, and keeps up with her three kids, all by the grace of God. No longer striving to earn worth, Kristen is embracing rest, freedom, and the beauty of imperfection.
She now shares her story through writing, photography, music, and social media, shining light on the truth that Jesus still heals and saves.
When she’s not behind the camera, at the piano, or singing on the worship team, Kristen’s chasing toddlers or learning to be still. She loves testifying to God’s miracle-working power and often whispers, “Thank You”—because grace always always wins.
(God rescued me out of Mormonism and into His eternal arms of grace! On my deathbed, I cried out to the true and living God—and He saved me. I also had a supernatural visitation in a Mormon temple where I heard the Lord say, ‘My work here is done.’ That moment changed everything. My husband and I took a leap of faith, left Utah, and moved to California. There, in a non-denominational church in good old Visalia, God began healing not only my heart spiritually but also physically from heart disease. His grace is real, and His freedom is complete!)
