Ahmed Joktan

Ahmed Joktan is a Saudi-born medical doctor turned Christian evangelist. He is the son of the mufti (a high-ranking Sharia law judge) of Mecca, the birthplace of Islam. Ahmed was raised under a radical form of Islam not taught by a majority of imams (Muslim teachers) and not practiced by most Muslims. He received formal training at a madrasa after memorizing the entire Qu’ran at the young age of 13.

Once set to bring jihad to the world, Ahmed came to know Jesus Christ as Savior as a result of strangers praying during Ramadan. He strives to bring true peace in Jesus to Muslims and the lost everywhere.

His prayer is “that the living God would open the eyes of Muslims everywhere; that He would grant them repentance and faith, so that they may no longer be blinded by the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4); and that ‘at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.’ (Philippians 2:10-11)”

Ahmed is the founder of Mecca to Christ, which has reached 271,000 Muslims in 2022 alone.
