Dawson Trimble grew up the youngest son of a pastor in Loveland, Colorado. While his older siblings attended Moody Bible Institute for college, Dawson was thrust from a Christian elementary school to a public middle school. He struggled to follow the Lord as a teenager, but was covered in prayer by his Christian family and friends. He severed his old ways when the Covid-19 pandemic awoke a fresh love for God’s Word.

Although he never expected to follow in his siblings’ footsteps, Dawson is now a junior at  Moody Bible Institute studying Communications. He is Lead Visual Designer for Moody’s Thin Space, where he combines his passions for Theology, Art, and Design.

This summer, he has been working as a Digital Evangelist OneWay summer intern, with “The Sparrow”, using his talents to work alongside missionaries, spread the gospel, and speed around the office on his hoverboard. He says,

“I love [OneWay] because I get to spread the gospel to people in closed countries. I also get to work with missionaries living in these closed countries.” Outside of work and school, Dawson enjoys playing video games, hiking, and spending time with friends.
