Monty Rieck knows trouble. Before becoming a minister of Christ, he chased all the world had to offer, leaving him desperate for answers. Little did he know, he was the one being pursued. Despite suffering financial loss, emotional heartbreak and physical pain, he finally found what he was looking for, which changed everything, including his identity. Monty Rieck, son of 1968 Super Stock Car Drag Racing champion William Rieck, grew up with dreams of being a professional rodeo cowboy. But God had other plans. Today, Monty is an ordained minister living in Santa Barbara, California with his wife Heidi.
His memoir is found in his book: I am Eli.
A broken heart, bankruptcy and back surgery didn’t prevent God from using Monty Rieck for a higher purpose.
A retired, fourth-generation plumber, Rieck resides in Santa Barbara with his wife Heidi, where he attends Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara, and is teaching himself to play the fiddle. Between he and his wife, they have eight children and twelve cherished grandchildren. Subscribe to Monty’s news at cowboypreacher.us.
