Raviv Dror was born in the last century in Israel, in a kibbutz in the northeastern region of Israel near the Jordanian border, 30 minutes from Nazareth, 30 minutes from Jericho, and 30 minutes from the Sea of Galilee.

Raviv grew up in the kibbutz under the Marxist-Socialist ideology that lasted until the late 1980s. Memories like parades on Labor Day every May 1st, equipped with red flags and flags of the Soviet Union, images of Lenin and Stalin in the dining hall are still fresh.

It goes without saying that God was not present in Raviv’s life as a child, as a teenager, or even as an adult. In Israeli kibbutzim, there was no spirit. There was vision, there was ideology, there was pioneering, there was brotherhood, there was unity of purpose, but there was no spirit. There was no God.

After years of study and work in the agricultural fields of the kibbutz, Raviv enlisted in the IDF and served for 4.5 years in the Armored Corps, and was discharged with the rank of Major.

From there, he continued to study water engineering, started a family, and began a career in various water technologies.

Since his childhood, Raviv loved to write and discovered a talent for it, probably inherited from his late mother. However, until a later age, he did not translate this talent into actual writing—until he found God. And not only God the Father but also His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

After the event of God’s revelation to him and accepting Jesus into his life, an event described in the book “Three in One”, Raviv began self-studying apologetics to strengthen his faith and provide tools to face his family and friends, confronting their attacks and mockery.

During that period, Raviv wrote three family books, and later, he decided to write his first book, “The Third Way,” which deals with apologetics and faith. This book received excellent reviews and was recently released in its second edition in both Hebrew and English.

After writing this book, and following the events of October 7 in Israel, Raviv decided to write his second book—“Three in One”. This book describes Raviv’s life in the kibbutz from the 1960s to the 1980s, his journey from a secular materialist man far from God to the foot of the cross, while describing the spiritual and mental struggles that believing Jews experience. In the second part of the book, Raviv describes modern-day Israel from a spiritual, faith-based, and demographic perspective, calling for the body of Christ to recognize Israel as perhaps the most important part of God’s plan for humanity, from its beginnings until today and, of course, into the future, leading up to the return of Jesus. Israel and the body of Christ are theological brothers. As such, they should recognize each other, love each other, and support each other as should happen in every family.

The hope is that you will love both books, which are very important for every believer, for their spiritual growth, strengthening their faith, and understanding of our Holy Father who sits on His throne, with Jesus Christ at His right hand, who gave His life so that there may be eternal life with Him for all who believe in Him. Amen.

Raviv speaks Hebrew as his mother tongue and he also speak fluently English and Spanish.
