Valeria Cerreto grew up in Dnipro, Ukraine. Dnipro is a unique city in Ukraine with its heavy Russian influence and language, but also a strong Jewish presence. Valeria grew up Jewish, the faith of her father. She had a Christian grandma who adorned her with a cross necklace. Valeria didn’t even know what it meant; it was something she had seen on graves.
Valeria moved to the US due to a marriage that turned out to be difficult as she dealt with paranoia and emotional abandonment from her husband. The difficulties continued as her newly estranged husband kidnapped their son. One frantic night, after a day-long search for her son, Valeria cried out to the God she never knew and felt His presence for the first time. Both her son, and Valeria herself, were now “found.”
Valeria is happily married, has two children, and prides herself on being a daughter to the King of Kings.
